these are six spreads (sans text) from a 54-page children's book about a christmas tree growing up and facing down urban development with help from unlikely friends.
i did the linework all in black india ink and brush\; the final images are a combination of that, a bunch of scanned ink textures, and a whole lot of digital trickery.
